Holiday Outreach Success Story

There was a client during our Holiday Hope Program that contacted the Resource Center in need of some holiday cheer. She was a widow of a Master Mason caring for her disabled son, and her bills had become overwhelming. The Resource center assisted the client through the application process for charitable assistance from the Grand Lodge Charitable Foundation, and provided the client with community resources for assistance with utilities. As a result, of the holiday season this client was also included in on the Ohio Masonic Home’s holiday outreach program, and received a holiday ham and side item for Christmas. After realizing the Resource Center was available, and that there was a Liaison in the local area to help, the client stated that she was also in need of a power chair, and the local Liaison proceeded to make contact and initiate the process so that the client could get an order from her physician. As a result of the assistance received form the Resource Center the client expressed interest in joining the Masonic Volunteer Program committee in the local area once it is formed!
